How to Get Pantera in Second Piece

To get the Pantera spec, you need to defeat the boss Grimmjow, and hope he drops it. It’s a rare drop, and unlike some other bosses, you have to summon Grimmjow using Arrancar Soul Fragments you collect first.

Getting Pantera

The Pantera spec itself isn’t crafted or bought; it’s a drop from the boss Grimmjow. The catch? It only has a 3% chance of dropping when you defeat him. Yeah, that’s pretty low, so you might need to fight him quite a few times.

How to Get Arrancar’s Soul Fragments

Before you can even think about fighting Grimmjow, you need to gather the materials to summon him. The key item is Arrancar’s Soul Fragments.

  • Where to Find Them: These fragments are dropped by Arrancars, who are enemies found on the Hueco Mundo island.
  • Farming Arrancars: Head over to Hueco Mundo and start taking down those Arrancars. They aren’t just standing around waiting, though!
    • Arrancar Behavior: Arrancars actually fight each other. When one kills another, it levels up and heals itself.
    • Evolved Arrancars: If an Arrancar manages to kill 3 other Arrancars, it gets a power-up called a Resurreccion. This makes it stronger, gives it more health, and grants it special abilities like Los Lobos or Tiburon. Be careful with these evolved ones!
    • Despawn Timer: Evolved Arrancars will eventually despawn after about 30 minutes (give or take).
  • Goal: You need to collect 75 Arrancar’s Soul Fragments to summon Grimmjow once.

How to Spawn Grimmjow

Got your 75 Arrancar’s Soul Fragments? Awesome! Now it’s time to summon the big cat himself.

  1. Find Aizen: Go to Hueco Mundo and look for the Aizen (Boss Spawner) NPC.
  2. Summon Grimmjow: Talk to Aizen. You’ll have the option to spend your 75 Arrancar’s Soul Fragments to summon Grimmjow for a fight.

Now, prepare for battle! Defeat Grimmjow and cross your fingers for that 3% drop chance.
